Dr. Ryan Poppin

Dr. Ryan Poppin received his Bachelor of Science in biology with concentration in anatomy and physiology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 2012. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2015. After graduating, he returned to his adopted hometown of Modesto with his high school sweetheart and wife Kendra.After 8 years of practicing in the Modesto area, he found his dental home in Ripon. Dr. Poppin has two sons, Wes and Caleb, with his wife Kendra. He enjoys spending time in the sierra foothills fishing and boating, and is an avid drummer, audiophile, and concert-goer. Dr. Poppin is delighted to practice in Ripon and is eager to get to know the patients and community!

I absolutely felt right at ease with their staff and attention to detail! They offer a lovely list of comfort items for your dental journey! From a blanket or a neck pillow, to aromatherapy or a Chapstick. I loved that!

Dr. Poppin DDS has a great professional personality and a calming knowledge of the practice. I especially like his staff. The hygienist I usually have do my work is sooo gentle and thorough! I recommend this team for your lifelong dental needs !

Dr. Ryan Poppin is the most skilled and compassionate dentist I’ve ever seen. He checks in with you throughout the dental work to make sure you aren’t too anxious, aren’t in any pain, and your needs are met. All of the staff in the office from front desk to dental hygienists to dental assistants work together as an efficient team and also care deeply about you as a person. Everyone here makes sure you leave feeling heard and cared for with top quality work. Dr. Poppin is a perfectionist and my teeth have been saved because of it. I give my highest recommendation for this dental practice.

Yesterday, I spent an hour in the DMV... That was a one star [expected] miserable experience. Today, more than an hour in a Dr Poppins' dental chair with drilling and such: 5 stars! Yep, that's the difference and how good Dr. Poppins and his lovely dental assistant, Bailey, are. Think opposite Ca DMV experience for a reference or gauge of what to expect with Doctor Popper! (Intentional misspelling to turn an already verbose review into a beautiful piece of poetry!)
