Your first visit begins with a thorough consultation to discuss your diagnosis and treatment options. A friendly team member will take digital X-rays and intraoral photos as prescribed by Dr. Poppin. Next, a comprehensive periodontal (gum) exam will be conducted as part of our detailed evaluation. These images are displayed on a 40-inch TV, allowing Dr. Poppin to review your results with you in real-time. She will then recommend the appropriate dental cleaning and any necessary treatments. If time permits, we can even complete your cleaning during the same visit.

Meet
Dr. Ryan Poppin
Dr. Ryan Poppin received his Bachelor of Science in biology with concentration in anatomy and physiology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 2012. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2015. After graduating, he returned to his adopted hometown of Modesto with his high school sweetheart and wife Kendra. After 8 years of practicing in the Modesto area, he found his dental home in Ripon. Dr. Poppin has two sons, Wes and Caleb, with his wife Kendra. He enjoys spending time in the sierra foothills fishing and boating, and is an avid drummer, audiophile, and concert-goer. Dr. Poppin is delighted to practice in Ripon and is eager to get to know the patients and community!
