Transform Your Smile with Porcelain Veneers

Everyone desires a flawless smile, and if traditional cosmetic treatments haven't achieved the look you want, dental veneers may be the solution.

Veneers are ultra-thin porcelain shells applied to the front of your teeth to conceal minor imperfections. They offer a permanent, safe, and aesthetically pleasing way to enhance your smile, boost your appearance, and elevate your confidence.

Combining dental artistry and science, veneers are custom-crafted to fit your smile perfectly. These thin porcelain covers mimic the look and feel of natural teeth, providing a versatile solution to a wide range of dental issues.

Am I Candidate For Veneers

At Ryan J. Poppin, DDS, we recommend dental veneers for patients who have:
  • Deep, intrinsic, or stain-resistant discoloration
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Chipped, cracked, or fractured teeth
At Ryan J. Poppin, DDS, we do not recommend dental veneers for patients who have:
  • Healthy teeth and gums: Veneers cannot address cavities or gum disease. Any existing cavities, infections, or gum issues must be treated before proceeding with veneers.
  • Adequate tooth enamel: Since veneers require the removal of a small amount of enamel, we ensure that your teeth have a healthy structure with enough enamel to support the treatment.
  • Signs of bruxism: Teeth grinding (bruxism) can cause wear on veneers. Our dentists will assess your bite to ensure it’s suitable for veneer placement.

What To Expect

How to Care for Your Veneers

Veneers are an investment in both your appearance and oral health. To make the most of your investment, proper care is essential. Here are some tips to help prolong the life of your veneers:
  • Practice good oral hygiene: Brush at least twice daily and floss once a day to keep your teeth, gums, and veneers healthy. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and non-abrasive toothpaste to prevent scratching your veneers.
  • Avoid nail-biting and hard or sticky foods: Nail-biting and foods that are too hard, sticky, or crunchy can potentially damage or dislodge your veneers.
  • Keep up with regular dental visits: Routine checkups and cleanings are crucial for maintaining oral health. We recommend visiting our office at least every six months
With proper care, you can expect your veneers to last for many years—typically a decade or more—and possibly even a lifetime!
